Jazz without Borders:Lets Create Something Beautiful Together

Music has always been my passport to the world. In 2016, I had the honor of attending the AFRIMA Awards in Texas—a moment that reminded me how powerful African music can be when it meets global audiences. Standing among incredible artists from across the continent and the U.S., I felt the energy of collaboration and cultural exchange.

That experience planted a seed: jazz is not just a genre, it’s a conversation. Today, as my album Sephonono reaches listeners in the United States, I want to turn that conversation into action.

If you’re a U.S.-based jazz musician, producer, or creative who believes in music without borders, let’s connect. Whether it’s a single track, a virtual jam session, or a live performance, I’m excited to explore how our sounds can meet and create something extraordinary.

We can make it real in New Orleans, New York, or Chicago—cities that breathe jazz. Or, if you’re ready for an adventure, come to Botswana and experience the soul of African jazz in its homeland. Either way, the stage is waiting.

Together, we can craft music that speaks to hearts everywhere—just like it did in Texas back in 2016.
