MSC Opera – Madagascar

Hello beautiful souls,

Today was a quieter, more peaceful day as we arrived in Madagascar. The island greeted us with its lush greenery and calm atmosphere—a perfect pause in the rhythm of our cruise.

Life on board MSC Opera has its own unique rhythm. Mornings start with the gentle hum of the ocean and the aroma of fresh coffee drifting through the lounges. Afternoons bring laughter by the pool, music in the air, and conversations that flow as easily as the waves. Evenings are pure elegance—soft lights, live jazz, and the anticipation of something special, like tonight’s Captain’s New Year Gala Dinner.

Madagascar itself has a fascinating music culture, and jazz has found its way into the local scene here. The Malagasy jazz blends traditional rhythms with smooth improvisation, creating a sound that feels both rooted and adventurous. It’s inspiring to see how jazz connects people across continents—just like my own journey with music.

Speaking of music, I’m thrilled to share that my new album “Sephonono” is out now on all streaming platforms! This project is deeply personal, and I can’t wait for you to experience the stories and emotions woven into every track.

Stay tuned for photos and a little behind-the-scenes from the gala!

Love and light,
Nnunu
