Sephonono Release Launch – After the Day

Yesterday afternoon at Botswana Craft will forever remain etched in my heart. The outdoor setting, beautifully staged with such care and artistry, created the perfect home for the Sephonono Release Launch. As I reflect this morning, I feel an overwhelming sense of joy, gratitude, and deep peace. It was, simply, a magical day.

From the moment the first guests began to arrive, Botswana Craft came alive — filled with familiar smiles, encouraging words, and an atmosphere wrapped in community spirit. The gentle breeze, the open sky, the sounds of laughter and conversation… everything came together effortlessly, as though nature itself wanted to celebrate Sephonono with us.

Performing the album live for the first time in that intimate outdoor space was powerful. Each song felt renewed, lifted by the energy of the people gathered. I sang with my whole heart, and in return, the audience gave me theirs. It was not just a performance — it was a communion.

I want to honour my husband with the deepest gratitude. He has embraced Sephonono from its very beginning a few years ago, long before a single note was recorded or a stage was set. He believed in this album in its earliest, quietest moments — when it was still only a spark in my heart. Yesterday’s success belongs to him just as much as it belongs to me. His support, his planning, his vision, and the countless behind‑the‑scenes efforts made yesterday possible. He lifts me, steadies me, and walks with me through every chapter of my musical journey. I am blessed beyond measure.

My family also showed up with so much love. Their presence, their smiles, their pride — it all gave me strength. And yes my Dad a very shy gentleman stood up and danced a profoundly toouching moment. I come from a family that has always believed in the power of music, and seeing them gathered there, celebrating alongside me, reminded me of my beginnings. Family grounds me. Family fuels me. Family keeps me humble and whole.

To my incredible band, who carried every note with grace and fire — thank you. You brought the album to life in ways that even I had not imagined.

To the production and technical teams, whose artistry shaped every detail of the outdoor setup — the sound, the lighting, the flow — you created magic.

To the media partners, thank you for your warmth and professionalism, and for helping share this moment with the world.

To every person who attended, clapped, danced, listened, and connected — thank you. You made the launch a celebration of community, culture, and the beauty of Botswana.

Today, Sephonono is officially out in the world — carrying with it not only the music, but the spirit of yesterday at Botswana Craft: joyful, grounded, heartfelt, and deeply human.

I step into this next chapter full of gratitude.
Gratitude to my husband.
Gratitude to my family.
Gratitude to everyone who stood with me.
Gratitude to you, my supporters, who make every performance meaningful.

Let us continue to celebrate, uplift, and shine — together.

With love,
Nnunu
