The energy from Thursday’s Media Launch is still with me—alive, joyful, and deeply encouraging. With the first phase now complete and the album officially introduced to the world, I’m stepping into the next chapter of this journey: widening the reach, deepening the message, and preparing for the beautiful milestones still to come.
First, I’ll be preparing for my interviews on Botswana radio stations. I’m looking forward to sitting down with presenters, sharing the story behind the album, and reconnecting with listeners across the country. These conversations give me space to talk about my creative process, the inspiration behind the songs, and my vision for taking my music to the international stage. It’s always special to speak directly to the people who have supported my music for so many years.
Next, my team and I will be preparing the tracks for radio playlists in both Botswana and South Africa. This means organizing radio‑edit versions, ensuring all the metadata and ISRC codes are correct, and packaging everything so programme managers can easily load the music into rotation. Airplay has always been an important part of my musical journey, and expanding it across borders is a key part of this new era.
And now, the planning begins for the big moment: my live album launch on April 30, in celebration of International Jazz Day. This event means so much to me. It’s a chance to perform the music live, with a full band, in an environment that brings together artistry, elegance, and the spirit of jazz. We’ve already started conceptualizing the stage, the experience, and the moments that will define the night.
Part of this preparation involves developing the sponsorship strategy for the event. We’re putting together proposal decks, identifying potential partners, and creating sponsorship tiers that offer meaningful visibility and collaboration opportunities. I look forward to engaging with companies and institutions—both local and international—who share my love for the arts and see value in supporting jazz and cultural expression.
It’s a busy season, a beautiful season, and a purposeful one. The Media Launch marked the beginning, and now I’m moving into the work that will carry the music even further. There’s so much more to come, and I’ll keep sharing each step of the journey as it unfolds.
Stay close, stay connected, and thank you for walking with me.
