My heart is so full.
I want to say thank you to everyone who came to Homecoming and made it such a beautiful, unforgettable night. What we experienced together was more than a concert — it was love, music, community and pure joy all wrapped into one.
From the moment the evening began, I could feel that something special was happening. The atmosphere was warm, the crowd was incredible, and the energy just kept growing. Seeing so many people come together — more than 600 of you — meant so much to me.
A very special thank you to Bhudaza, who opened the night so beautifully with a masterful set of his own music. He set the tone perfectly and brought such depth and spirit to the evening.
And then, when it was my turn to take the stage, I felt surrounded by so much love.
Thank you for listening, for singing, for dancing, for feeling every song with me. As an artist, there is nothing more moving than to share your music and feel it come alive in the hearts of people. That is what you gave me that night.
The music was beautiful. The crowd was beautiful. The vibe was perfect. I am told my performance was stunning 😍
Even when the rain came around midnight and brought the official programme to a close, the night did not lose its magic. In fact, it became even more special. Watching so many of you stay under the marquees, singing the songs a cappella together, was one of the most powerful and emotional moments I have ever experienced.
No stage lights. No band or backline. No formal programme. Just voices, hearts and music.
That is something I will never forget.
Homecoming reminded me why music matters. It brings us together. It comforts us. It celebrates us. It gives us memories that stay with us long after the last note has faded.
Thank you for giving me one of those memories.
Thank you for coming home with me.
With love,
Nnunu
