City Wives

There are invitations that are simply bookings — and then there are invitations that feel like a perfect meeting of purpose, music, and meaning.

I have been warmly invited by CityWives BW Pty Ltd to perform at the upcoming CityWives Soirée on 1 August 2026, a premium women’s social event dedicated to celebrating womanhood, love, marriage, motherhood, and meaningful connections.

The invitation, extended by Dr Ratang Mokgosi, organiser of the CityWives Soirée, beautifully acknowledges my soulful voice and the emotional depth of my original music. In her message, Dr Mokgosi noted that my music would “beautifully complement the atmosphere” being created for this special occasion.

For me, this invitation is especially meaningful because the themes of the event sit naturally within the heart of my music. My songs have always carried warmth, tenderness, reflection and spirit — speaking not only to love, but to life’s intimate journeys: the bonds we form, the families we nurture, the homes we build, and the memories we carry.

The CityWives Soirée promises to be more than a social gathering. It is envisioned as a graceful celebration of women — wives, mothers, friends, sisters, leaders and companions — coming together to honour the beauty of shared experience. It is the kind of setting where my voice can gently fill the room with sincerity, elegance and emotional truth.

The organisers have requested that I perform two original songs resonating with the themes of love, marriage and/or motherhood. That request alone says something important: this is not just about entertainment. It is about choosing music that speaks to the soul of the occasion.

As discussions continue around the performance details and quotation, I am deeply appreciative of the recognition and the opportunity to be considered for such a thoughtful and premium event.

A women’s soirée. A celebration of love and family. A room filled with meaningful connections. And, perhaps, voice carrying two original songs into the hearts of those gathered.
